Customer Service Advisor
Corby, Northamptonshire Salary: Negotiable

Our client is an influential music company that manufacturers and distributes musical equipment and accessories with a relaxed & friendly ethos, located within Corby, Northamptonshire

Customer Service Advisor - Role:

Within this role you will be working as part of a team delivering a first class, professional customer service, using a range of communication methods, to ensure that customer enquiries are resolved at the first point of contact.

Customer Service Advisor - Main Duties:

  • €’ Provide technical answers to our dealer network and end users

  • €’ Investigate customer enquiries efficiently using all relevant information and to issue appropriate response to customers within required timescales and in accordance with existing policies and procedures, in a professional, friendly and efficient manner

  • €’ Ensure that customer enquiries are resolved at first point of contact, unless further investigation is required

  • €’ Use sound judgement and take decisions within established procedures for each service request including logging, processing and progress chasing enquiries, adhering to agreed Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction

  • €’ Assist with the processing of customer returns

  • €’ Maintain electronic and written databases of letters and forms received, information given and services requested to ensure accuracy of information and efficiency when dealing with customers

Customer Service Advisor - Qualification / Experience / Skill

  • €’ General knowledge of musical equipment or pro audio systems is essential

  • €’ Musical experience and involvement with hands on experience of musical equipment is essential

  • €’ At least 1 year’s Customer Service/ Administration experience would be preferred

  • €’ Computer literate

  • €’ Able to understand your customer’s needs

  • €’ Able to set, maintain and exceed customer service standards

  • €’ Have good communication skills and an ability to build rapport with customers

  • €’ Able to remain calm under pressure and problem solve accordingly

  • €’ Possess a confident, professional telephone manner

  • €’ Have exceptional attention to detail

  • €’ Applicants should be highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals

  • €’ Good written and verbal communication skills are important as is the ability to work within and contribute to this international company

  • €’ An interest in the music industry is also favourable
